Green Garage takes to the Streets

March 28th 2010, Denver Business Journal – Ernie Lavigne was so fed up with the automotive industry that he decided to earn a real estate license.

But the struggling housing market forced him to keep his job as a parts and service director. He worked at Boulder-area dealerships Ferraro I-25 Chrysler Jeep Dodge, Longmont Kia and Ferraro Mazda — all owned by Ryan Ferraro. And that job left him exhausted, frustrated and generally upset.

‘I was really tired with the way dealerships run,’ he said. “It’s not a very fun environment. It’s not a very healthy environment, and I didn’t like how people were treated, basically.”
